For Hailey's 1st birthday party, we had a big shin-dig at our house. Since it was smack dab in the middle of the summer, we have a few kiddy pools and canopies in the back yard.

Birthday cupcakes
We had her party from 12:00 - 2:00 and had just switched her daycares (which meant she went from two naps to one) the Monday before her party. By the time we got to cake, we was exhausted. You can kind of tell by the look on her face that she could care less about what was going on. Also, notice the candle lit and the chunk of icing gone... we weren't quite fast enough.
And she's done... She went and took a nice good long nap right after she was all cleaned up.
You see the amount of people in this picture! I don't blame her for needing some quite time.
She did make out like a bandit, though. It is nice that her birthday and Christmas are 6 months apart!!

I love the smash cake pictures! I have a feeling that our little linebacker won't be as dainty about his cake as his sweet little cousin was. Ha!
Hailey is such a doll, Tara! Just when I think that she can't possibly get any cuter, she does!
