Playing in the sand.

While I'm here, I might as well make the best of it right. Anyways...

On Saturday we met my brother and his family in Horseshoe Bay, which is about an hour away from Austin. Well at the resort there they have a beach. This was Hailey's first experience in the sand and thankfully she didn't mind it one bit. She was eating it in no time!!

First big girl meal.

I'm sure it's been a long time coming but for whatever reason, Hailey hasn't (hadn't) had "real" food. This is her first big girl meal. She fed herself green beans and carrots. Yum!

Quack quack!!

So Stephen's mom got Hailey this duck that plays peek-a-boo and says I love you AND quacks. Well, for about a week or so Hailey was making this "grunting" noise that we couldn't figure out what it was...we are pretty sure she was trying to "quack"!!! She only does it at the very beginning of the video clip and then becomes completely disinterested. Go figure!
